Zhezhi GUO is a professor at School of Journalism & Communication, Tsinghua University, People’s Republic of China. She was trained in China to be a journalism historian and her academic interest includes broadcasting, new information and communication technology, focused on the social interaction and cultural consequences of the media. She is author of several Chinese books, including A History of Chinese Television (1991), Broadcasting History of China and of the World (2005, 2008), and a few English book chapters. She is currently doing a state research on the Strategic communication of Chinese culture in the world.
