Dr. Chenyu Dong, lecturer at Renmin University of China. Visiting scholar at George Mason University (2012-2013). His research areas include digital anthropology, technological affordances of new (emergent) media, and interpersonal connections in social media. He co-authored History of British Journalism with Prof. Lidan Chen (2015), and translated six books into Chinese, including Crystallizing Public Opinion (2014), Propaganda (2014), Concise History of United States of America (2017), Personal Connections in Digital Age (2019), Tales from Facebook (forthcoming) and Culture@Silicon Valley (forthcoming).
